Okay, some days life just exhausts us. We feel like we could crawl up in a corner like a little kitty cat and go off into dreamland with our favorite stuffed animal, chew toy and blankie. So what do you do when that happens? You do the LAST THING you want to do……you go WORKOUT. I know, it sounds insane, ridiculous, actually preposterous! But it works. I did the true test today. It was dinner time and I could barely keep my eyes open. My family has had the stomach bug for days, I was working on dumb power points for corporate wellness, hosting tons of seminars, (thank God for my freakin’ awesome partner, Kitty/Cinnamon/Mary) and meeting with health coaching clients, doing 10 loads of laundry, cleaning puke filled carpets, disinfecting my entire house….you get the picture. We have all had these days. But I knew somewhere in the back of my mind that I needed to MOVE. I also knew in the back of my mind that I couldn’t move. (well, almost couldn’t) I mean, this IS the advice I tell my clients when I health coach them, RIGHT??? “Exercise gives you energy.” Yeah, I say that all the time. CRAP. IT WAS TIME. TO TEST MYSELF. I almost had to call a friend to drag my butt into the Jeep to get to TRX class at my favorite studio Iron and Grace. It was the VERY LAST THING I WANTED TO DO! But, I went. (extremely reluctantly, and I mean extremely) And this is what happened.
