Super Simple Olive Tapenade

I {{LOVE}} olives! They are packed with good fats that keep me full, satiate my salt tooth, and you can use the leftover juice for martinis!  Olives pack a pretty big nutritional punch that you can read more about here. Win/win.

Annnnnnd…they are easily transformed into a briny, delicious tapenade in five minutes flat.

Total time
Recipe type: Appetizer
  • 7 oz jar of pitted kalamata olives
  • 1T minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest
  • Juice of a small lemon
  • ½ teaspoon siracha
  • ½ cups toasted pine nuts
  • 2T EVOO
  1. Blend all ingredients in a Vitamix or powerful blender. I like mine chunky so I only need to pulse a few times. Serve with sliced cucumbers, seed-y crackers, and feta cheese.

This is the perfect clean spread for all of the upcoming holiday parties you’re sure to be throwing. I have also put in a pretty a jar with a ribbon and taken to friends and neighbors. So tasty!

Rachel!!! This looks too die for! I’m making it this weekend. I had a tapenade the other day and used my kale as a scooper and it added an awesome crunch.

I love that idea Tiff! It was so good and easy to make! I made a cheese plate for guests last weekend and this tapenade was the first to disappear!!
