Yes. It’s time to eat real high quality grass fed butter…raw and organic will do your body goooood. I know it doesn’t make any sense to actually put butter on anything because we have been told by every big food company that butter is BAD. They started telling us to switch to margarine….that was proven to be a nightmare because science has shown partially hydrogenated oil is killing us….and then they told us to eat fake butters. “Butters” that are made from who knows what- Chemicals, harmful oils, loaded with GMO’s and other unrecognizable ingredients that any normal human could or would ever be able to stock their pantry with! I’ve seen it all.. Parkay, Country Crock, Smart Balance. They want us to believe that eating Smart Balance is the smartest way to start our day(gross). These are the ingredients in Smart Balance:Natural oil blend (soybean, palm fruit, canola, and olive oils), water, contains less than 2% of whey (from milk), salt, natural and artificial flavor, vegetable monoglycerides and sorbitan ester of fatty acids (emulsifiers), soy lecithin, vitamin A palmitate, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, Vitamin D, dl-a-tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), lactic acid, beta carotene color, and potassium sorbate, and calcium disodium EDTA (to preserve freshness) Soooo….eating Smart Balance is anything and everything BUT smart. Don’t eat it. The only ingredient in real butter is CREAM! Yes, that’s it people, just cream. So I’m not telling you to eat a whole stick of butter. But when you want some butter on your toast, eat real butter. If you are making some eggs, put real butter in your pan. You get the idea. Now the reason I like grass fed butter is because these cows are grazing on the food they were meant to….actual grass. They are healthy and happy and produce milk which is actually nutrient rich. According to Dr. Frank Lipman, It offers health benefits like Vitamin K2 to support bone density and Vitamins A, D, and E which are all key antioxidants to promote overall health, and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) which promotes muscle growth and protects against cancer. I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter……well, if we look at the ingredients it should be called, “I can’t believe I’m eating this SH**!” The food industry is doing a great job confusing most consumers and as I health coach more and more people I am depressed and exhausted at how well these marketing techniques and billions of dollars are working.
