Let’s Talk Dirty…

Obvi our blog is blonde-centric because the three of us are, well, blonde…in every way possible.  And speaking of hair, we are all (no matter what color our hair) faced with a similar struggle on a daily basis.  At least I am.  To wash or not to wash!?

to wash or not to wash

I used to wash my hair EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.  Wash.  Blow dry. Flat iron.  And first of all, ain’t nobody got time for that.  Second, it is so gross and bad for your hair!  Why didn’t anyone tell me this sooner???

So how often do you wash your hair?  Be honest.  On a typical week I will wash my hair three times.  Usually Wednesday, Friday and Monday-ish.  Not gonna lie, if I don’t have to interact with anyone, it may jump down to two.  And vice versa if I have a lot of meetings or am working out (sweating, hot yoga, etc) more than usual, I may have to wash three-four times in a week.

What products are you using?  We already know I don’t measure up so well in the clean product department but I did just get a new shampoo and conditioner that I am like dying over.  It’s made by Goldwell and specifically for blondes.  It makes me all shiny and bright and BLONDE.

Finally, do you use dry shampoo?   I haven’t dabbled in this arena yet either.  What are some of your tricks for lasting in between washes?  Thanks in advance ya’ll!

Hey there! You could use arrowroot for sure. It will soak in the oil. The best way to use it is as follows:
    – Sprinkle at roots. Do not touch.
    – Do makeup, make bed, etc. just let it sit to soak up oil.
    – Brush through.
I’ve read articles that have said to add cocoa is you have dark hair and I imagine you’d smell lovely. Haven’t tried it though since I am blonde.
    Hope this helps!
