Some of you are DONE with your holiday shopping. To those people, we say, we
hate envy you. This post is for everyone else. Here are a few (dare we say last minute, already?!) gift ideas for the most important GIRLS in your life.
YOUR BEST FRIEND
Who doesn’t want something sparkly, especially before kicking off the start of a brand new year? I am loving Thesis of Alexandria for holiday bling. And they are sooo rad they are offering all of you beauties 20% OFF YOUR ONLINE ORDER PLUS FREE S+H in the US. I’m telling you, they’re the best. Just type in code “BEC20” at checkout!
They have varying price ranges, are made in the US, and have tons of styles. Seriously, love.
Bracelets, rings, necklaces….heavenly.
My mom loves to be in the kitchen but lately, her cooking game has slowed wayyyyyyy down. I ordered this cookbook (for myself, natch) in October and cannot put it down. It’s a GORGEOUS coffee table book even if you never cook a recipe from it (but what a shame that would be), it’s a great price on Amazon, and has recipes like strawberry-meyer lemon jam, lobster with parsnip puree, roasted scallops with pumpkin, and yellow squash marmalade. Not to mention, adorable chef and writer Sean Brock is from good ‘ol Virginia, owns HUSK Nashville and HUSK Charleston, and he’s a James Beard Award Winner. Bottom line, this book is a kitchen staple and will be a go to in your or your mama’s home to totally wow your/her crowd for years to come.
YOUR HAIR STYLIST
Let’s be honest…she (or he) makes you look HOT on an everyday basis, up your tip this month and maybe throw in something small but special so it shows how much you appreciate her hard work! Also, because she is stuck listening to people talk day after day after day after day…get the girl some booze. This prosecco is super tasty plus, who doesn’t love bubbly?
YOUR FOODIE FRIEND
If you are as lucky as I am, you have a girlfriend or two who loves restaurants and food as much as you do. I’m looking at you Amy. Personally, I hate house signs (think: HOME or BAR) but I love signs on tee shirts. Like these guys from Buy Me Brunch. Any of my girls would throw one of these on with hole-y jeans, tough boots, and a slouchy sweater. Aaaaand you’re ready for brunch (or anything really).
FOR EVERYONE ELSE
OK so a lot of people may disagree with me here, but I am a HUGE fan of gift cards. Like, for anything. For anyone. New neighbor? Get her a one class pass to your favorite gym. Hostess gift? Wine shop gift card. Animal lover? A GC to her local boarder or pet shop. When in doubt? A small gift certificate to a local boutique to support your community and show a bestie you love her? Can’t go wrong!
Merry Christmas to you all, remember to enjoy this holiday season because as always, it will go by in a flash.
