Homemade {Blackberry} Chia Jam

My favorite thing ever (well, right now) is when Douglas comes home from work and we enjoy some fab cheese, jam, and fruit before dinner.  It’s our indulgence and we LOVE it.  But so many jams {like all of them} have HFCS and other scary crap that I would rather leave on the shelf of the grocery store.  So while I was trolling IG this week I stumbled upon @honestlyfitness Blueberry Honey Chia Jam.  No crazy chemicals (ONLY THREE INGREDIENTS!), no wild canning process, and all things I already had in my kitchen!

Blackberry Chia Jam

I made the recipe almost exactly like she did and it turned out so good!  I used blackberries in place of the blueberries so it has more texture from the ground chia and blackberry seeds but I love it!  I added a cup of chia and tried it on Ezikiel bread with my favorite almond butter and don’t think I will ever go back to store bought brands.

Wait, does this mean I can eat more cheese tonight when Douglas gets home?
